About The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional service and smooth running of all bar activity.
This hands-on role is central to the club’s evolving clubhouse and hospitality experience, with responsibility for cellar management, stock control, and leading a team to deliver consistently high standards across matchdays, events, and weekly service.


Key Responsibilities:

Bar Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring service is efficient, friendly, and professional at all times
  • Lead by example during service, supporting and motivating bar staff during busy periods
  • Open and close the bar in line with procedures, including cash handling and security checks
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation

Cellar & Stock Management

  • Take ownership of cellar operations including line cleaning, stock rotation, and equipment upkeep
  • Conduct regular stock takes and support ordering, deliveries, and stock control\
  • Monitor wastage and implement improvements to minimise loss

Matchdays & Events

  • Lead bar operations during matchdays, private functions, and club events
  • Prepare and adapt service based on expected footfall and demand
  • Contribute to creating a welcoming, energetic matchday atmosphere for supporters and guests

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a bar supervisory or similar hospitality role
  • Strong knowledge of cellar management and drink service standards
  • Experience managing stock systems, rotas, and team operations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, event-led environment
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and matchdays
  • Personal Licence holder (desirable but not essential)
