Lions Continue Positive Pre-Season with Impressive Victory Over Burnley U21s

Flixton FC continued their encouraging pre-season preparations with a deserved 2-1 victory over Burnley U21s at Valley Road, producing another disciplined and energetic display against high-quality opposition.

With a blend of defensive resilience, aggressive pressing and clinical finishing, Alex Mortimer's side made it another memorable afternoon at Valley Road, giving supporters further evidence that this squad is developing into a competitive and cohesive unit ahead of the new North West Counties Football League campaign.

Fast Start Sets the Tone

The Lions began the game on the front foot, pressing Burnley high up the pitch and disrupting the visitors' rhythm from the opening whistle.
